This year's "Hearts on Fire" is the theme our President has chosen. The Ways and Means Team is hopeful that this will mean our Virtual (aka Do Nothing) Campaign will be a "firestorm."
We know you share our passion for helping women get educations, this is your chance! We are hoping for 100% participation....in the past we have had donations range from $25 to $50 to $150 and even more!!! You can give a check to Ways and Means Chairman, Stacey. As always, this is voluntary and confidential.
Sooooo let me tell you a quick story!
Since 2011 when we had our first virtual campaign that was called "KISS" for "Keep It Simple, Sisters", this campaign has become an EZ tradition. In the early years we had up to 98% involvement, last year we had 63% participation. In looking back we realize that very possibly some our newer members can't relate to this kind of fundraiser.
After years of garage sales, raffle ticket sales, fashion shows, and other labor-intensive projects, the chapter decided to try this method of raising money to help women reach the stars with education.
We do work hard by selling herbs, buying groceries at Basha's, hosting Founder's Day, buying and selling Butter Braids, but our main source for donations to our Projects is raised this way.

BUTTER BRAIDS FUNDRAISER
BUTTER BRAIDS FUNDRAISER...
Begins on November 4, 2024; but we can start selling as soon as you get the link to the online store. The link will be delivered to your email from "Uplifting Promotions". Please submit your orders online by November 15, 2024.
You will need to pay with a credit card when you complete your order on the online store. There is a $1.50 transaction fee, so please try to add all your orders online before you pay to avoid an additional $1.50 transaction fee.

The flavors are Apple, Bavarian Cream, Blueberry Cream Cheese, Cherry, Cinnamon, and Cream Cheese.
Each 22-ounce pastry sells for $16.00 and Chapter EZ earns $6.00 for each Butter Braid sold. Most of you know these are delicious and easy to make. Great gift ideas. Just thaw, let them rise, bake, and enjoy.
The Butter Braids arrive frozen, so please sell only to people you can personally deliver the pastry while still frozen.
Butter Braids will be delivered to the home of Wendy Talich, 8251 East Dolphin Avenue, Mesa, AZ 85208 on Tuesday, December 3, by 10:30 a.m. Please try to arrive at Wendy's no later than noon on December 3. Directions: Wendy lives at Fountain of the Sun. Just tell the guard you are there to visit Wendy Talich, will need to give address and show I.D. as photo driver's license. Wendy is right across the cul-de-sac from Pat Jones. Take the VERY FIRST left after the guard shack on Park View Circle, follow it around to East Dolphin Avenue on the left (the 9th street on the left). Wendy's house is the fifth house on the left.
